ACT Prolite Flywheels

The ACT Prolite Flywheels are highly preferred for driving purposes which require minimum inertia such as road racing. The stock flywheels generally are cast iron made compared to Prolite flywheels which are light, CNC machined and heat treated. Stock flywheels store the engine’s power little bit as inertia and provide optimum drivability whereas Prolite flywheels compromise with drivability to enhance throttle response of the engine and increase acceleration. The surface area of the clutch is left with substantial material to dissipate heat better which in turn adds up its durability. The Prolite flywheels are highly weight saving, decrease inertia, quicken acceleration and reduce drivability.
